This is a very good hardcover copy in reddish-brown cloth covers printed in gilt with the circular seal of the Society on the front cover and title to the spine. Top page-edge gilt. The covers are soiled, (much of this just blends in to the dark colored cloth). Spine darkened. The dark red endpapers are generally clean (one small abraded spot). Text and plates are very clean. The 14 plates are all photogravures by T. and R. Annan, and are printed in a rich brown color. Tissue guards all present, occasional corner creases to guards. 13" high X 10" wide.
